Castle Cary Framers is situated near to Bruton, Wincanton and Frome, in the old market town of Castle Cary.
Originally set up by a local art collector to frame a large private collection, Castle Cary Framers is now available to all comers. We specialise in minimal framing in natural or painted wood for photography and fine art.

Dean, our on site framer, has over 40 years experience in all forms of carpentry and cabinetry, and will create a beautifully crafted frame from one of our contemporary range of stock frames or ordered from a catalogue.

stock materials
Most materials can be ordered to meet the customers needs. However we have in stock:
- Frames in white, black and Oak in varying sizes.
- Conservation mount and backing boards.
- Standard 2mm picture glass
- Low reflective 2.5mm glass
- MuseumTM glass (99% UV blocking)
suppliers
We can order most materials for larger jobs from our suppliers next day (orders before 12pm), with longer delivery times for specialist glass / frames.
Our framer suppliers have been manufacturing since the 1930s and have a huge range of stock of classic and contemporary frames from a range of periods and styles. Catalogues can be viewed on appointment.
